Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

claysusa is a clay-target shooting news aggregator. We publish original headlines and short summaries, link to original publishers, maintain a public club finder, and provide a way to send news items for review.

Information We Collect

We do not require accounts, subscriptions, or logins to read the site. Like most websites, the hosting provider may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, referring page, requested pages, and timestamps in ordinary server logs.

Mail-To News Submissions

If you use the send-news form or email news@claysusa.com, your email app sends the message to us. We may use the information you provide to review a link, follow up with you, or evaluate whether a story belongs on claysusa. Do not submit private, confidential, or sensitive personal information.

Publisher Links

claysusa points readers to original sources. When you click publisher links, podcast links, ScoreChaser links, YouTube links, advertiser links, or other third-party links, you leave claysusa and the destination site controls its own privacy practices.

Public Club Directory

The club finder and coach finder may include public directory information such as names, city/state, affiliations, public websites, phone numbers, and map coordinates where available. This data is compiled from public sources and is intended to help shooters find clubs and instructors. If a listing is inaccurate or should be reviewed, contact us at news@claysusa.com.

Cookies, Advertising And Analytics

claysusa shows a small public front-page visitor count based on an editor-set starting number plus aggregate Cloudflare Web Analytics reporting. It does not write page-load counts to Vercel Blob storage or require reader accounts or subscriptions.

Cloudflare Web Analytics uses a browser beacon to collect aggregate performance and usage measurements. Cloudflare says this beacon does not use cookies, localStorage, sessionStorage, IndexedDB, or stored IP addresses to track readers across sites. Some browsers or content blockers may block the beacon, so the numbers are directional rather than a reader-by-reader record.

Cached Images

To keep the page reliable and fast, claysusa may store a local display copy of publicly available story images or uploaded editor images. Cached images are used to illustrate outbound links and do not change the rule that full articles remain with the original publisher. Copyright holders can contact us for review, correction, or removal.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate the site, review submissions, improve the edition, understand general traffic, maintain source quality, protect the service, and support advertising or sponsorship measurement.

Sharing

We do not sell reader account information because claysusa does not operate reader accounts. We may share limited information with vendors that help host, secure, measure, or monetize the site, or when required by law.

Your Choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. You can avoid sending email submissions if you do not want us to receive your email address. You can also contact us to request correction of public club-directory information.

Children

claysusa is a general-audience site about clay-target shooting news and events. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through accounts or registrations.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site adds analytics, advertising, automation, or publishing features.
